Under DSound, one can define an inner- and outer- Soundcone for 3D-Sounds. So it is possible to create an directed Sound (directed in a specified direction). The outerCone- Volume is for fading out the sound on the outercone´s border.
I have another question.
What about MUTEATMAXDISTANCE? Does a channel end, when a sound cannot be heart? Or is it mixed in, even when the listener is too far away to hear the sound?
