I’m having a problem with playing back ADPCM streams on the PC from a .fsb bank from the Harddrive.
The problem I’m having is with FSOUND_IsPlaying returning ‘true’ even when a stream has finished playing.
Checking the streams sample position using FSOUND_Stream_GetPosition seems to show that the stream has some how gotten stuck.
This starts happening after the our game has been running for about 10 minutes.
I tryied forcing the streams to use 2d software voices but this didn’t seem to help.
Putting a timeout using FSOUND_Stream_GetPosition, checking to see if the stream pointer has advance works but is not ideal.
Any advince would be good.

We’re using Fmod with at the lowest level of our in-house API so giving a reproducible would not be so easy.
I’ve just moved over to fmodEX and the problem seems to have gone away.
Will post if the problem resurfaces.
