G’day!
Just as a suggestion, why not implement support for either Mo3 (module files with the samples compressed to mp3) or something similar (perhaps supporting samples in mp3, wma, or ogg formats)? The filesizes are ideal for internet games – i have a 6 minute high quality mo3 file in 300kb – and they also sound great.
It’d make a great addition to your library.
Of course, you’d need to also make some sort of program that converts the mod into it’s compressed format. The Bass library’s converter calls an external mp3 compressor, so there’s no real need to make your own compressor.
Well, that’s something for you to think about

I’ve never heard of the Mo3 format before. Interesting idea.
