The idea to put all of this into the wiki is very good, but i think there is a simpler method.
i simply extracted the contents of the chm file to html with a free converter that i found on [url:2syn20b5]http://www.gridinsoft.com/downloads.php[/url:2syn20b5].
it would be cool if the fmod-makers could also extract the chm to html and host it somewhere here on the page and could also put the html into the package, because it is a lot easier to use.
anyway … it would be a great idea to put the api into the wiki, so that we could also add problems that can occur with specific functions …
therefore we could use a wordToMediawiki or HTMLtoMedia-wiki-converter
I started a wiki-page for testing-purposes.
i just took the source from the html that i created and used html2Wiki to convert it ([url:1mn067ia]http://diberri.dyndns.org/wikipedia/html2wiki/index.html[/url:1mn067ia]). It is not perfect, but it is better than nothing for the beginning … saves a lot of work!
