Hi, im trying to make this simple game in Visual C++ where you shoot things and things blow up, but im having trouble with adding sound to my game. I am trying to make a laser sound and an explosion sound (if you hit a target) play at the same time. Ive been experimenting with FMod but i cant get it to work. Ive tried making two instances of the FMod class one with the laser sound and the other with the explosion sound, but when i play them together it only plays the instance that i initialised first, twice. Heres the sample code:

if(!mySong.Init(Laser)) exit(1);



How do i overcome this problem so that i can have them play at the same time and the same number of times i clicked the mouse button??

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks…
