I have a project with an microcontroller whichs drives 6 differt colored led-stripes. The command comes from my VB application over the rs232 serial port interface to communicate with the pc and my microcontroller hardware.
I want a clavilux. At the moment i realised that by using a plugin for winamp (VBLink by Softwarecave). No the problem is i have always start winamp and also the plugin and the plugins shows a nag screen. my biggest problem is that user which using media player not able to let my vb application work as a clavilux.
So i searched for alternatives and i found FMOD. I downloaded FMOD Ex 4.12 and loaded the included spectrum analyzer sample for visual basic, but have to be a file loaded first.
Is it possible to work with the spectrum analyzer if the soundcard output would be analyziest. Thnaks for your support, and sorry if my english wasnt always nice, its not my native language.

Ohh that would be great, maybe i can rewrite some parts that it works under VB.NET. At least its a beginning for me, at the moment it works nothing ;-(
Why is here PureBasic used? I didn’t even now about this Basic Version, do you use this because you ned more speed than normal VB?
I send you a PM with my email adress to send me the source.
thanks for your reply but i already found that and wasnt able to use it.
My problem is that im not so expected to create complexe programs and e.g. LineSpec.dll dont have any example source code i can take an eye on, same to fmod.
I found an example for VB6 if using bass.dll, but convertion to NET failed. I tryed to reduce the errors displayed by the converter wizzard on bottom, but e.g. i wasnt able to fix the Dim xxx as Any in the functions definition. As any isnt longer supported by NET.
PS: I attrackt attention that there are just samples provided by fmod to VB6 but i dont see any sample for modern NET apllications, dont you like NET or what is the reason for making samples for (the old) VB6?
