There seems to be some stall in the build process happening in Designer 2010.
I have a very small project, with only 20 sounds. (1 piece of music, and 19 very short sounds). The project file is about 94kb
I’m building the FEV with no sound banks selected, so this should be really quick right?
I have the Build window output tab open, and text whizzes past really quick until the line:
[code:17sghpfl]Unique sound definitions 4/11[/code:17sghpfl]
Then it stalls for about a minute, with the spinning windows busy icon.
Then a few more lines:
[code:17sghpfl]Retrieving waveform info...
Retrieving reverb info...
FEV file written ok
Creating list file ‘common.lst’ for wave bank ‘common’
And another stall of about 20 seconds, then done.
Any ideas what might be causing this stall?
I’m worried that this will become painful over time as the project becomes larger and larger….

Getting the same thing here: there’s a consistent 2 minute delay from hitting build/rebuild until it actually builds the bank(s). Did anyone find a solution to this? My guess is that it’s checking all the banks and directories (which are on a network drive) first or something, but I’m only building one small (20-30 wavs) bank at a time.
