Hi,

We currently update FMOD from 4.32.9 to 4.36.2. We use FMOD Profiler for performance testing.
The listener just stay at some position. And there are only 6-8 sounds be played in our project.
Our audio designer found that if we use the old version sound data(build from FMOD Designer v4.32.9), the CPU usage is about 10%~20%. But if we change the sound data that build from FMOD Designer v4.36.2, the CPU usage is undulate. The CPU usage of update term could be up to 40%.

What could we do to make the CPU usage down :( ?

Its impossible to tell with that information. You need to give information about what exactly you’re doing and with what effects.

Hi Brett,

Sorry, We have just do more testing on our project. And the high CPU usage is no longer exist. It might be some problems happens on our project :oops:. I guess it might be affected by other game update or the bad network environment.
