Hi everybody,

I’m learning to use FMOD and, as you can see, this is my first post here. I have searched before posting, but I wasn’t able to find an answer to my question.

I’m wondering if it is possible to create FSB files from source code, without using the FMOD SoundBank Generator. Actually, it would be enough for me if I could save a sound file in a compressed format (it doesn’t matter which one), including the syncpoints I have assigned to it by calling the method addSyncPoint() in the code.

In short, what I want to do exactly is open a sound file, add syncpoints to it and save it in a compressed format.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi galdrusa,

There is a lib file for fsbank which allow you to do exactly that. Take a look inside tools/fsbanklib directory inside your FMOD install directory.
