I have an application running 4.24 (mac 10.7.2). What ramifications are there upgrading to the latest stable version?

Seems there are quite a few.

I have a question, what condition would cause the following:

FMOD::System::createSound failed: An invalid parameter was passed to this function.

The fmod version is 4.24. The error came from upgrading the OS from osx 10.7.1 to 10.7.2. no changes to the source. I looked through apples dev documents and couldn’t find much. I went through the fmod revision logs and didn’t see anything that stuck out.

I don’t have direct access to the source at the moment.

It’s hard to say what the error might be related to. Can you try linking with the logging version of FMOD and check the TTY for any hints.
Also can you confirm that the FMOD examples operate as expected for you.

I ran through a few of the examples in the 4.24 release and it seems that everything is fine. I will have to attach a debugger tomorrow (monday) to see whats going on. I wasn’t sure if there was some known issue with prior versions of FMOD and OSX 10.7.2
