Hello,
I’m trying to do the IOS equivalent below. How can I obtain the soundID of one sound and then stop it from playing ?

sound_id = FMODSoundPlay( sound );

if FMODInstanceIsPlaying( sound_id )
then { FMODInstanceStop( sound_id ); }

FMODs API is cross-platform so there is no iOS specific functions for controlling sound playback, although it appears you are using some kind of wrapper.

To play and stop a sound using the FMOD API directly you would use System::playSound and retrieve an FMOD::Channel object back (the playing instance of the sound), then you would call Channel::stop to end playback.
