Hi
I am programming in C, and when I try to compile a program for FMod, I get a lot of syntax errors in the fmod.h file, like “syntax error “#” at token,” where I have the include statement, “syntax error before ‘F_CDECL’” and “syntax error before ‘define’.” I am new to C programming and don’t understand these errors. If somebody could help me it would be highly appreciated.

Sounds like you need to define WIN32 as a compile time define so the fmod.h ifdefs can identify the platform as Windows.

I am using Dev C++ and have set Win32 GUI under Type in the Project Setting. I have also tried to use Win32 console, but with the same result. Is there any other settings I should set?

I’m not familiar with Dev C++ but there should be somewhere you can set preprocessor defines at the project level, this is where you need to add WIN32.
