Hi
I am trying to make a project in Dev C++ that is a copy of the project in the examples\playsound folder. But when I try to compile it, I get a lot of linker errors, like
[linker error] undefined reference to ‘fmod_systemCreate@4’, [linker error] undefined reference to ‘fmod_getVersion@8’, [linker error] undefined reference to ‘fmod_Init@16’
etc. I don’t understand any of this. I have made a library link to libfmodex.a in the project, and also copied all the header files to the same folder as the project, so then I really don’t understand what else I should do. I wonder if someone could give some suggestions, which would be highly appreciated.

If you use Dev-C++ you must use the FMOD C API and use the libfmodex.a lib.

For details see the "Important issue with certain compilers and FMOD’s C++ interface" section of the getting started guide for Windows.
