I am working on a game in C. Right now the music for the game starts when the game starts (I’m running it in my main file). Then when I hit space a sound is supposed to play. The problem is when I hit space it stops my mp3 from playing and just plays the sound.
I created a function that calls FMOD_SYSTEM_UPDATE(mysystem) and I call the function in my gamestatemanagerupdate. I thought that would fix the problem.
Any tips or suggestions would be great!

It’s hard to diagnose your problem from the provided information but my best guess is there is something wrong with you system initialization code. Could you post your set up code for the FMOD_System?

When using System::playSound / FMOD_System_PlaySound, do you use the same channelid?
Some sample would be good indeed, esp. your System::init and System::playSound code for a beginning.
