Could someone explain to me because I don’t know how to do? When I create a recording of a sound input (microphone) with a sound card other than the main with FMOD, the volume level input depends on the Windows mixer volumes adjustment. I would adjust at the maximum the level, without mute and with AGC directly from my application, the input of the soundcard selected. How to do it with FMOD? Another problem: when I play a sound with FMOD, its level still depends on the master volume of Windows (under vista or 7). I wish to can save its value to return the initial value when I go out of my application, and to set it at the maximum when the sound plays. Same for the mute of the master volume (see if it is lock or not and can to unlock it). I looked everywhere on the search engines but I can not find an answer. I begin to despair to find my solution.

FMOD doesn’t have an API for controlling the master volume of the system, however you can implement this yourself following the advice from the below link:
