Hi everybody !

I have a bug with FMOD Ex about the pitch detection. I use the original example (in C++) with Visual C++ 2010 Express.
In fact, when i play the same note more than 2 or 3 seconds, the pitch detected becomes "C 0", despite it was the right note just before. I spent more than 4 hours on this bug, and didn’t find the solution… I searched on the internet but didn’t either find the answer.

Maybe you have it ? :)

Welcome to the FMOD Forum. I just opened up the pitchdetection example and it seems to be working fine for me. I’ll need more information from you to diagnose the problem. From your description it sounds like it works correctly for the first few seconds and then stops working entirely. Does this bug occur reliably every time you run the example? You said it happens with a constant note, can you try playing different notes and see if that also causes the program to stop working? What are the OUTPUT/PLAYBACK/RECORD driver setting that you are using?
