Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I’m wondering about an issue with ogg decoding. Basically, my ogg file is 18kb (was converted from a 100kb wav file). In-game, it seems to be getting decoded through fmod with a resulting file size that is about 10x bigger than the original wav file.
Any idea why this might be?

FMOD doesnt take .ogg files and keep them in memory compressed, it either decompresses them, or you can open them as a file stream and decode chunks at a time (so using createStream instead of createSample).

We do support vorbis encoding as part of our FSB format as a ‘compressed sample’, if you want to use vorbis compressed audio as your sample format, you just have to use .fsb instead (see fsbankex tool in fmod tools directory).
