When using autosample on an mp3 file build will fail, why is that?
Also when calling Event::start() – game freezes for a short period of time in debug mode – in release everything seems to be fine, what could cause that? How can I avoid that?
Music plays ok on both speakers, however sound is only played on left for some reason.
All I have right now, is mp3 file of 3:01 length for music (stereo) and a jump sound in wav (mono).
Both set to 2D mode.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for replies, I’m sorry for being a little rough, I was a little disappointed at first.
I’ve managed to solve most of the problems (oversized banks, event start freeze and etc), some problems just disappeared by themselves (only left speaker working on sounds).
Sorry we missed your post, it hard to diagnose your issues without additional information, here are my thoughts on the issues:

It is hard to say what might be going wrong here. I have done some testing and the automatic resampling is working fine for me with mp3. There is information about the build in the bottom of the Build Project dialog and more detailed information inside the fmod_designer.log file in the FMOD Designer install directory.

It could be too much logging? If you are linking against logging version of FMOD and have the Debug_SetLevel set high it can do a lot of logging. Depending on how long the freeze is it could be loading if you are calling getEvent here as well, although I doubt that would differ too much between debug/release if you are dynamically linking to FMOD.

That is very unusual, do the examples play correctly for you? Are you seeing this in both the tool and your game? Have you adjusted any of the 2D Speaker settings in the event editor?

[quote="SoulSharer":2bi3zs5i]Oh yeah I almost forgot.. new bug, when you go to Sound Defs, and you play a sound there it crashes, still not fixed, but at least its not that critical…[/quote:2bi3zs5i]
