The first not-a-developer-preview version of FMOD Studio was released[/url:a2k0evdy] on on the 27th.
Hi, I just wanted to add that the most recent working version of Designer which doesn’t display this bug is 4.42.05.
.06 and beyond are a no go if you want to be able to audition as you change parameters on a mac.
And yes, I was sad enough to try every version in between to find the most up to date one which works. I needed to know that I was learning on a working version, given that FMOD studio (which is fantastic by the way!) is in developer preview at this point in time and I don’t know when it is expected to be released as a stable build.

This is a known issue[/url:3l2x6e2x]. As a workaround, we recommend that you create a multi-track event containing an instance of the sound you want to audition.
Unfortunately, due to our current focus on developing FMOD Studio, we are assigning a low priority to any Designer bug for which there is an easy workaround, so we won’t be able to fix this for now.
