I seem to be having some sound not play randomly.
Playing an event I get the following events in order:
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_EVENTSTARTED
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_INFO
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_START
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_EVENTFINISHED

Randomly when I try to play that same event I will get the following events:
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_EVENTSTARTED
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_INFO
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_START
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_END

I’m trying to figure out why I get the FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_END. The event is a pretty simple one shot sound that doesn’t have any parameters and I’m positive I don’t call stop event on it.

I’m running FMOD 4.42.04 on the iPad.

Thanks!

I would think you should see it any time a sound is stoped, not the event.

Here is what I recieve calls on a simple event.
Only ran it about 30 times , and didn’t miss the _END.

MOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_EVENTSTARTED
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_CREATE 20mm_2.wav
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_INFO
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_START /simpleevent_sounddef/20mm_2_201
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_END /simpleevent_sounddef/20mm_2_201
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_SOUNDDEF_RELEASE 20mm_2.wav
FMOD_EVENT_CALLBACKTYPE_EVENTFINISHED

Any chance something is up with our calling EventSytem->Update() ?
