Hi, guys.

I'm now developing a karaoke app with fmod library for iOS, I want to merge the voice from the mic and another background music together, then save it to a wave file, I just don't know how to save the in buffer data of the custom DSP callback function to a wave file (except FMOD_OUTPUTTYPE_WAVWRITER way), can anybody help me?

thanks.

you would need to do it yourself. FMOD gives you floating point data, but you can also produce a floating point .wav if you want.
Look in the recording example to see how to create a .wav file with a header, start streaming the data to it, then when you’re finished go back and update the header to give it the right length value before closing the file.
regards,
Brett
