I have a new PC with windows 7 64 bits and I am having a problem with Fmod Designer. As soon as I try to use the audio player on the sound defs page (the actual sound defs one on the right, not the one for the individual source files), my FMOD just crashes. No error message, no nothing.
Also I have a Mac and Fmod works perfectly there but is my old system.

Big thanks to anybody who can shed light on this!

This is a [url=http://www.fmod.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15727:v9gcg7vi]known issue[/url:v9gcg7vi]. As a workaround, we recommend that you create a multi-track event containing an instance of the sound you want to audition.

Unfortunately, due to our current focus on developing FMOD Studio, we are assigning a low priority to any Designer bug for which there is an easy workaround, so we won’t be able to fix this for now.

For those who would prefer to downgrade instead of using the workaround, the most recent version of Designer not to suffer from this issue is 4.42.05.
