Hello!

We’ve found that a couple of our apps that use fmod play audio very choppily on the Motorola Droid RAZR XT912 (specs[/url:2cygn937]) with the official Android 4.1.2 upgrade. This does not happen with a RAZR XT912 on Android 2.3, nor does it happen on a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-19300 (specs[/url:2cygn937]) with 4.1.2, so it seems like an issue with the latest version of Android on (at least) this particular device. Is this a known issue?

Thanks,
Christina

We don’t have any known issues with this device. Can you try using System::setDSPBufferSize to increase the amount of buffering FMOD does? Perhaps try size 1024 and count 4 or 8 to check for improvements.

Also you could try calling System::setOutput(FMOD_OUTPUTTYPE_AUDIOTRACK), this might help.
