Hi all,

Im trying to make a multitrack event non stopable. I thougth i got it rigth but it seem that after a while these events stops playing.

I have a 2 layer event with one audio (loop mode:one shot), each one of them with a lot of defs in it (15), i attached the sound def properties.

The only way i manage to make it unstopable is to add another layer with a blank audio in it, this one with LOOP MODE : Loop and cut off.
I also attached the snapshot of the event with the 3 layers.

Can you help me, i don’t want to use a blank voice just to make that event unstopable. What am i doing wrong?

Currently, your event’s ‘Oneshot’ property is set to ‘Yes.’ This tells Designer to automatically stop the event when no sounds are playing, which will occur whenever both your sound defs fall silent between spawns at the same time. Fortunately, there’s an easy fix: Just set the event’s ‘Oneshot’ property to ‘No.’ Don’t worry, this won’t make your event loop, or anything – it’s just so FMOD knows whether or not it should automatically stop the event if it goes quiet.
