Hi, I’m trying to figure out why I am not receiving the FMOD_MUSIC_CALLBACKTYPE_BEAT callback when I try to play my sound cue. Sometimes it works and I hear sound and I get the FMOD_MUSIC_CALLBACKTYPE_BEAT callback continually. When I hear no sound, I do not receive any FMOD_MUSIC_CALLBACKTYPE_BEAT callback at all. This seems to be the only difference I can find as I have put logging output everywhere I can think of and I compare the logs from when it does work and when it does not work.
I am playing by calling FMOD::MusicPrompt begin() which is returning FMOD_OK in both cases (when I hear music and when I do not hear music).
Could someone please guide me in the right direction of what I should be looking for in particular? The MusicPrompt says is being played. Nothing is pausing the music or overiding it by playing another sound or stopping the sound as far as I can tell. Nothing is calling end() or release() on the sound. The faders and volumes all look valid.
I just need to guidance on where else to investigate this issue. What would be a good next step to debug this further?
This is on [WinRT] if that makes a difference.

The theme music is the only sound I hear when it is working. When it does not work, I hear no music or button presses, and when in game, I hear no sound effects or music either when this issue happens. So, it seems once this issue happens, I get no sound at all for anything.
