Hi,
I need to load some sound files (.mp3) located in the hard drive (not in the root folder of the application).
I don’t know how to write properly the file path to access to a local file.

[code:wshng8oe]result = system.createSound("file://Users/louisdonnot/Documents/noeltechno.mp3", FMOD.MODE.HARDWARE, ref sound3);[/code:wshng8oe]

It works well when the file is located in the Assets folder ("Assets/noeltechno.mp3").
It seems that it don’t understand "file://".

Is it really possible to create a sound from a local file ?
If Yes, do you know the good way to write the local file path ?

Hi Dono,

I have moved this thread from the FMOD Studio Unity integration subforum because the question is regarding the FMOD EX API with Unity. If you want to load a file from an absolute path it would look something like this "C:/Users/louisdonnot/Documents/noeltechno.mp3" for example if the file is on the C: on Windows.
