This discussion was continued over email, but for the benefit of other forum users I will also answer this here. FMOD Studio requires native code plugins which are not available in the web for security reasons, so it is not possible for us to offer a side-by-side integration for the webplayer. The only way to get native code in the webplayer is for it to be compiled into the core engine and, by extension the webplayer browser plugin. This may happen one day if Unity decide to upgrade their current FMOD Ex based audio solution.
