Hi i am trying to load and play sound in a mac app using fmod
my loading code is
res = FMOD_System_CreateSound(fmodDevice, soundFileName, FMOD_CREATESTREAM, NULL, &pSound) ;

res value after this command is 0

but when i try to play it using
FMOD_RESULT result = FMOD_System_PlaySound(fmodDevice, FMOD_CHANNEL_FREE, pSound, false, &pChannel);

then no sound is played and result shows FMOD_ERR_NET_URL error. at the moment i have no clue why is it showing this error
this error is only occuring on mac. the same code works on android, iphone and windows

if you’re not actually using a http address, then it would be very unlikely that playsound would return that error, and even with a http address it would be returned from createSound. It sounds a bit like your dll and fmod header are out of sync? Can you compare FMOD_VERSION with System::getVersion?
