Parameters don’t have a ‘reverse.’ They’re not timelines; There’s no rule that says they have to run through their values in any particular order. Instead, they’re ranges of possible values, and a parameter could start (for example) at 5, go down to -2, up to 7, then to 10, then back to 5 again, as requested to by the game.
The parameter in that video has an assigned ‘seek speed,’ and therefore causes the parameter value to move gradually to a new value when changed, rather than instantly. Seek speed can be set in a parameter’s ‘Parameter Properties’ window.
