Hi,

I want to implement ReplayGain in my soundplayer. So I want to know what DSP to use to boost the audio. For example if I want to double the volume (200%) without doing anything else (no attacks, fades etc.) which is the effect to use?

What I mean, is there a way to set a volume higher than 1.0 with for example FMOD_ChannelGroup_SetVolume, FMOD_SoundGroup_SetVolume or FMOD_Channel_SetVolume?

You can use Channel/ChannelGroup::setSpeakerMix to go above 1.0. SetVolume is always clamped to 1.0 in FMOD Ex. SetSpeakerMix is not.

Note that FMOD Studio low level API allows >1.0 volumes in setvolume.
