I’ve been porting a PC game over to Mac OS X that utilizes fmod, and I was wondering if anyone has come across this compile-time error in Mac OS X using XCode:
illegal reference to symbol: _NewSICompletionUPP defined in indirectly referenced dynamic library /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CarbonSound.framework/Versions/A/CarbonSound
I’m using fmod’s carbon-based library from the downloads page.

I haven’t really tried any of the examples. Is there a way you can obtain a copy of OS X 10.3, or do you recommend any other suggestions? I don’t think it will be possible to downgrade my OS to 10.2. Perhaps if I tried compiling it under Project Builder instead of XCode? Although that might not work since it uses the same gcc compiler AFAIK.
