I have had sound effects playing in game for some time now and new sounds have just been recorded. Although I can play them from an FSB using your fmod sample application, all of these sounds seem to be obscured in game and are playing far too fast, so all sounds are like our voiceovers where performed using helium balloons for special effect. Is there something I could be doing in code that could cause this to happen?
Any advice appreciated!
These sound effects play in 2d and not in 3d at present so it has nothing to do with velocities etc. I am also not calling setFrequency/setDefaults on the sound. I will be doing more investigation myself but if you have any other ideas then please let me know.
