In our MMO, players can compose music in a way that’s like a very simple FruityLoops. We have a bunch of samples, which they can arrange and trigger at various times. In crowded areas of the game, the framerate can drop, which causes some notes to get delayed.
An easy solution would be to play (schedule) all samples up to, say, 1/4 second early, and specify a delay in microseconds before the sample should play. Is there some way to do this?
