Most of you probably can’t conceive of a use for such a thing, as you write programs where you have control of the sound system from the very beginning to the end. But in my case, that isn’t so. For the specific “application” (actually more of an add-on) I’m writing, I need to be able to use an IDirectSound handle that I don’t create, and I don’t control. Is there any chance that such a feature could be added to FMOD? I should think it wouldn’t be particularly difficult; just a matter of reading the configuration of the handle, and adjusting to those capabilities available.

I would greatly appreciate the addition of such a feature.
