Hi there,
I’m totally new at fmod. I didn’t even start to learn it, because I have to know, is it possible to perform what I need. (sorry for my english, I did my best here:P)

So anyway.. I have to read some stream from internet radio (in mp3), then convert it to WAVE and then stream that wave on localhost. And this has to be done in real time. I’ve read some about SavetoWave function, but I don’t want to save it to hard drive, but convert it in real time and then stream at localhost.
So:
Radio—getstream—>fmod(mp3)—conversion—>fmod(wave)—streaming—>localhost

Is it posibble to do it with that library? If not, maybe you know some other solution.
Thanks for any resposne

Cheers!

FMOD cannot act as a streaming host. Only as a streaming client.

Ok, thanks for that answer. I’ve been digging around in examples a bit and now I wonder is it possible to get to the raw data from audio stream?

I’ve launch the “netsream” example and it works fine. But i I cant find any line in code that download samples from radio.

And I need to have arrays with raw data and convert it to wav.

Any advice?
