Hi, I am trying to make a sound mod of a game that uses FMod. Looking at the header of the .fev file I see “RIFF FEV FMT” but no mention of what version of Fmod it was built with.

How can I determine which version of Fmod was used and which version I should download?

You should contact the game’s original developers, and ask them which version of FMOD Designer or FMOD Ex was used in their game.

You will need to ask them for a copy of their game’s FMOD Designer or FMOD Ex project, in any case. Without the original project, you will not be able to build new audio content that is compatible with the game unless they specifically took steps to support user-generated audio content.
