When the application path contains accent it is impossible to load any data in fmod. For example :
path = “C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApplicationFolder_é\”;
this.fmodEventSystem.setMediaPath(path);
this.fmodEventSystem.load(“Data.fev”);

The setMediaPath doesn’t throw any errors but the following command (Load) throw an ERR_FILE_NOTFOUND error. (the same code works if the path is path = “C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApplicationFolder\”;).

We work on Unity in C# with fmod event api.

Unfortunately the FMOD Event System API doesn’t support Unicode, this oversight has been addressed in our newer product FMOD Studio.

You should be able to use relative paths via the FMOD Event System API to avoid the need for explicitly the full path that has accented characters in it.

    Ok, thanks for the answer. We'll change our system to use relative paths.
