What would be the best way to go about a slow motion effect where I can slow down all of the sounds in a bus or event? I came across this answer:

but seeing as how that answer is 2 years old, and the answer talks about implementing new features, I was wondering if that was still the best way to go about it.

Alternatively, would there be some method of doing this in Studio, perhaps with some sort of automation and a variable I could control?

Don’t know if this is the best way but I’d try this:

For event pitch shifting you can use the master pitch (located below the 3d preview when you click on the master channel) and automate it to your liking.

For pitch shifting everything in a bus you can use the pitch shifter effect, but I’m not sure if it’s parameters can be automated or not.
