My soundtrack slips out of sync over the course of a session on Android devices. I think it’s related to fps dropping below 30 when there’s a lot of action on screen. It also occurs on more adept devices too.
What are my options here? Is there any way i can disconnect the audio from the frame rate? Is that a ridiculous question? Or is there a way I can sort this in FMOD?
I’m aware there are problems with Android and latency. We’ve managed to skirt around that before with SFX and now it’s on point but there must be some way to use a generative soundtrack and not have it fall out of sync on any device. Right? At least not on top end ones which have, generally, a steady frame rate.
Apologies if these are silly questions. I’m struggling to find answers across internet.
