I’m currently using FMOD 1.10.05 with UE4 4.19.2. Both are being source controlled via Perforce, since I am working on the project with my brother and we are both familiar with it.
The problem I have is that every time either one of us loads the project, all the FMOD sound assets have to be re-imported. Unreal also seems to be unable to find or recognize the uassets for banks/buses. I suspect this has something to do with perforce integration, since I created a test UE4 project and the FMOD banks and assets load just fine.
I was hoping that someone could help me discover what I’m doing wrong, or if this is a known issue with FMOD/UE4/Perforce. I’ve been digging around the internet all week, trying every suggestion that might maybe be related and nothing has made a difference.
For the record, I don’t know anything about coding, and this is my first time working with UE4 as well as FMOD. I previously worked in a larger studio with UE3, and am now working independently.
